Day to day duties + different tasks on any given day

 

-Sales Floor Operations: Is a constant presence on the sales floor helping customers. Is actively selling Plant Party products and services.

 

-Maintains an aesthetically appealing store by keeping it clean, clutter-free, and by making sure it is a warm and welcoming place to shop.

 

-Greeting customers, helping them find what they’re looking for in a helpful, courteous way.

-Process, price and place products on floor.

-Clean, sweep and tidy from planting, classes and messes made in between tasks through the day.

-Preparing for classes and occasional offsite events.

- Process orders for Deliveries, shipping and gathering supplies for classes, rentals throughout the week.

-Lifting plants into U-Haul, transporting them from shop to onsite events.

-Keeping track of plant inventory

-Help with watering plants

 

Requirements:

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis in order to stock the store and to do carry-outs for customers. This is a semi-active role which requires you might be on your feet for the at least half your shift some day and sitting during other slow times.
• Position is open to a future full time position: weekends will be required for full time opportunity
• Knowledge of basic plant care is necessary, but no experts needed, we will train the right person.
• Must be available during the week between 11-7p.
